It is about the fabric

I started Pretty Pear Designs because I had a collection of fabric that I stared at.  I moved from rentals to our first home purchase with this stack of fabrics.  My whole adult life I have purchased fabric.  Most of the time just because it made me happy.  I always wanted to do something with it.  Sew pillows, make a quilt, anything.  One day I just had to play with the fabric that I had moved around with so much...and thus I put fabric to paper and then inspiration was born in me.  That was 4 years ago.

I have grown and evolved since that night and have much more growing to do.  For me though it is always about the fabrics.  I getty giddy when I see fabric that I love.  Like a sweet chocolate addiction, it takes me to happy place.

 

So I am keeping my eyes wide open and have been searching for new fabrics that I love.  I have found a place for my fabrics and that makes me just oh so happy!

I am a fabric addict, too! Since late March when I started sewing...it's a beautiful addiction!
