My Chicago event

I am always amazed that we spend so much time looking forward to something, anticipating it and preparing for it and then poof...it comes and goes.  I worked very hard and spent lots of time preparing for the Junior League of Chicago Holiday Market Gazebo.  I had a great time in that wonderful city.  The venue - the Chicago Cultural Center was absolutely beautiful.  Lots of fabulous vendors, with such great products.  I was so grateful to have my friend come along with me to help out.  It was a working/ girl weekend, where we got a mommy break.

I thought I would share some of my pictures of my display.  Some a bit blurry so I apologize for that.

 

 

Chicago here I come!

So, lately I have been feeling like a chicken with my head cut off.  I have been very busy preparing for a special event that I am so proud and honored to be a part of.  This summer at the Elkhart Lake Farmer's Market it was suggested to me by a very lovely woman Laura Schwartz of www.WhiteHouseStrategies.com. that I should do this wonderful event in Chicago and Pretty Pear Designs would do very well.

I have had lots of requests to sell my stuff in Chicago, but have not been sure where to start.  However, Laura was so nice and so enthusiastic about my work that I said sure, why not I am up for a challenge.

So, on Nov  19th - Nov 21st  you will find Pretty Pear Designs making my Chicago Debut at this event

As I said I thrilled to be a part of this, the best thing is 15% of all my sales goes towards the Junior League of Chicago.  What could be better shopping and donating all at once!  If you are in the Chicago area stop on by and say hi!
